The 3rd China Village at NMF was held in Canberra on 15-17 February 2019. It includes a fascinating outdoor stage and some stalls to showcase the Chinese culture and arts.
This is a great opportunity to experience the Chinese music and dance performances, handcraft, calligraphy, paintings, tea ceremony from China and enjoy the gastronomic delights this great culture has to offer.
National Multicultural Festival
National Multicultural Festival(NMF) is a community festival held annually each February in Canberra and is a platform for cultural exchanges between different ethnic communities. It not only boasts cuisine showcase, but also features varied and exciting art performances presented by various ethnic groups.
An inaugural China Village was setup at NMF 2017 for the Chinese performing art groups from China and local Chinese community.
The Chinese cultural handcraft, calligraphy, paintings, tea ceremony or food will be displayed in over 30 booths sampling at scheduled times. This vibrant Carnival will just make your day!
